Like the title says Im thinking about raptor lining the exterior of my truck.
. This option does meet the cost goal at about 200 - 250 to complete and its DIY friendly. Thanks mang - Nick. Since real paint jobs cost more money than I have right now.
The most important part is prep work. Im thinking either going all white all black white top- black bottom or olive drab. Everything that wasnt being painted was placed back into the cabin awaiting reinstallation.

This option is pretty subjective as to whether or not you like the look. Its very durable and UV resistant. I used Raptorliner on my Poison Spyder fenders.

2 days ago Oct 29 2021 Below are some pics I took right after painting. It will turn out lighter than you think following the raptor directions for tinting at least mine did using Candy Apple Red. Mix RAPTOR Color with RAPTOR Tintable Base to give a rich UV resistant color that wont fade even after years in the sun.

I was thinking about going with a lightish or medium gray color for the outside and then black for in the cab and in the bed. However using a thick tape does produce a better result because the Raptor Liner can build up on the edge of the tape and make a nice clean line. If you only used painters tape the Raptor Liner could bleed over the top and make some stringy and uneven edges. However if youre local Line-X shop is reasonable I think it would be the better route. Has anyone here tried to match this color in.
Rhino liner is similar and can be quoted out somewhere around half that. It sprays really easy with a stutz gun. Highly recommended for the do-it-yourself project.
